Ethics, Boundaries and Communication for Verbal Interaction in Therapeutic Practice. (4CE hours, complies with OBMT ethics requirements.)

With a focus on communication within the Biopsychosocial model and the issues that arise when working with acute and chronic pain, we’ll explore the do’s the don’ts and the grey area between. You are encouraged to share. Be sure to bring your ethical dilemmas and questions to explore with your peers and colleagues.

Topics include ways to be supportive to the client while staying within scope-of-practice if the client discusses their own healing narrative, pain science, medications, mental/emotional health, stress, or social-economic support systems.
